Project: Vote

Now that Season 3 is history, let's take a trip down memory lane.

Yes, we have many to choose from, but what was THE ONE reason Project Runway went auf-track this season? You can only choose one answer per day. That means you can cast another vote the following day.

What was THE ONE reason Project Runway went auf-track this season?
They kept Vincent on waaaaay beyond his prime!
They cast Keith Michael, knowing he was trouble.
They kept Angela on just for dramatic flair-chon.
They brought back the auffed designers in Episode 10.
They cast the designers more for "good TV" than "good fashion."
They rushed back into production too soon after Season 2.
They edited out all of the fun and lighter moments, thinking we'd rather see the in-fighting.

Darling,

The word is "cast" ... We cast, they cast, she cast; we want to cast, we did cast, we will cast ... "casted" is not a word. Not yet.

Love ya, mean it.

And I ADORE your blog!

I would like to vote for another reason as well. Too many comments from the judges as design being "A Matter of Taste..."
What was that really supposed to mean? If it wasn't THEIR taste, it wasn't good fashion? Even Tim was on to those comments. I really think as well that they should have had totally impartial judges that were not part of any other show all season to judge the finals-judges with no past history to color their decisions.
Just my 2 cents!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this blog!

How about "none of the above?" Your blog is funny and PhotoShop-erific, but I've never agreed with your premise that this season was worse than previous ones. There was a higher talent level -- with the exception of the unfortunate Stacey, everyone knew their stuff. There was more bitchiness and more TV-manufactured drama, true. But it was definitely entertaining and engrossing.

I also don't agree that this season was worse as far as AMOUNT of drama (season 1, people!), but it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. Casting is key. They picked several people (Vincent, Keith) who were really quesionable psychologically, and we all paid a price.

As for Jeffrey and his meanness, I found it really unattractive. While the Q&A on the Mom challenge would have made no sense unless we knew that Darlene and Jeffrey had been fighting, some of his other comments about other contestants (why don't you have a stroke?) could have been left out in favor of a humorous quip from Robert or Kayne, for example. Producers, you DO have choices here.

I fear that since Jeffrey won, more people will bring their bad attitudes to the table in hopes of getting attention. Magical Elves, please don't play their game!
